Customer: Our customer is significant player in Brazil since 1965, employing about 11,000 people across 17 states and the Federal District. The company operates through various industrial units, warehouses, port terminals, and offices in 147 municipalities, with its headquarters in São Paulo.

The customer is involved in numerous sectors, including agriculture, animal nutrition, food and beverage, and industrial products. The company provides agricultural solutions and industrial products while emphasizing sustainability and community engagement.

Situation:

During the COVID-19 lockdown, our customer faced several challenges regarding the sales of poultry in Brazil. The pandemic disrupted supply chains, leading to significant logistical difficulties. Transportation restrictions and labour shortages impacted the ability to move poultry products efficiently. Additionally, the closure of restaurants and food service outlets led to a sudden drop in demand, while the retail sector experienced a surge, creating a need to quickly adapt distribution channels from bulk food service packages to retail-sized products.

Another critical issue was maintaining operational health and safety standards within processing facilities. Our had to implement stringent health protocols to protect workers, which sometimes resulted in reduced processing capacity and operational slowdowns. The company also faced challenges related to ensuring food safety and managing consumer concerns about the safety of meat products during the pandemic.

Go On created a B2B solution that virtually connects the company to buyers. The solution is a mobile application which prove highly successful, and even after the pandemic, the app continues to be used and reporting sales growth.

The mobile application provided poultry producers with the ability to manage their business remotely and efficiently. Key features of the app included real-time monitoring of business operations, managing sales, checking prices, etc. The app also allowed producers to manage offers, sell products in real-time, and enter pricing solutions that fit their needs.

The ERP JD Edwards has limitations in executing processes with large volumes of data or for repetitive actions. For example, massive customer registrations, creating sales orders in higher volumes for functionality testing, processing external data like tax receipt, among others.

After Go On noticed this limitation in the ERP JD Edwards, Symphony was created, a solution that organises and facilitates the execution of orchestrations in the ERP quickly and efficiently, eliminating repetitive processes and without the need for development to accommodate new orchestrations.

Additionally, there was no concrete data on the purchasing profile of customers, such as age, gender, the products, and areas in the store that attracted the most attention from customers. 

Solution: 
Wise ID is an app installed on mobile devices and smart TVs in the display areas of stores that connects the devices to a central hub, facilitating error-free, joint price changes. It features facial scanning capabilities, which gather data on customer profiles, the most viewed devices, the most visited areas in the store, and the demographics of people frequenting those areas.
